Say hello to Trodat's personalised racing pigeon wing stamp. The traditional rubber stamp has the ability to create an impression of up to size, 55x15mm including 3 lines of text, perfect for customising with your name, address and telephone number.
Not only does wing stamping make it easier to trace down the bird if it goes a stray, it is also one of the racing rules set by the RPRA that each member must ensure that all birds being raced or trained by them are wing stamped on at least 3 flights. Normally this is to include the key contact details of the racer, trainer or organisation.
The traditional stamp is designed for use with a separate stamp pad. Not only does this give you the option to choose the most suitable ink pad for your application but the pigeon wing stamp is designed to apply the necessary pressure to stamp your contact details clearly without damaging the feathers of the bird.
